LET ME TELL YOU A STORY . . .

Once upon a time, a collision of enormous energies of molecules and atoms occured. The result was a new planet in the middle of the infinite universe, expanding and expanding. Large glowing sphere began its journey around the sun. The planet was slowly cooling down and when its crust reached the right temperature, the new life began. Through the evolution of mankind there began gradually to develop rhythmic vibrations, that became more and more divine and could not be explained at that time. This was the music. That was the BEGINNING.

Beginning with the first baby steps in the Berlin underground, finds him today continuing as an internationally sought after producer, remixer, live act, DJ and successful label owner with unmistakable style and an impressive discography. He is a welcomed guest at the most important international festivals such as Time Warp, I Love Techno, Monegros, Creamfields, Nature One, Melt!, SonneMondSterne, Wire Japan and Mayday. After founding his own label Damage Music Berlin, it has skirted short-lived trends to become easily established as one of the most important innovative triggers in the international scene at the junction between house and techno.

Throughout his youth, Tomy DeClerque witnessed at first hand the development of Slovenia’s electronic dance scene. As techno artists such as Umek and Valentino Kanzyani found global recognition and the country’s club scene thrived, it presented the perfect opportunity for a young DeClerque to ride the wave. His early work for Circle Music, Sprout and Jesus Loved You, brought him much attention and, over the past two years, he has rapidly built a strong following with his work for labels including Intec Digital, BluFin, 1605, Terminal M, Toolroom, Cr2 and more...
