19 YEARS OF AMBASADA GAVIOLI

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” And the mirror answered: “You, our Queen, are the fairest of them all…” This may sound like something straight out of a fairy tale but it’s the truth – we have the most beautiful dance cathedral in the country and this year it’s celebrating its enviable 19th birthday!!

Again the year has passed and the day has come when all the fans of dance music gather in one place, on one dance floor to pay their respects to Slovenia’s oldest club, which has definitely benefited the fact that we love electronic culture as much as we do the most. Let’s recall last year’s good wishes at the height of the evening, which got a big round of applause making but a few of the clubbers’ eyes tearful.

The Fetch the Vibe team continues with its string of exquisite quest performances and as is befitting for the 19th birthday, yet another anniversary will leave a lasting impression with an unforgettable experience!

MAGDA, who was more than happy to accept the invitation to our anniversary celebration, says: “I’m obsessed with searching for the essence among various things, between various sounds and music genres. Living in a different environment has had a substantial influence on my personal connection with music I create and share.”
The coincidence that she stumbled upon the Detroit’s underground party scene turned out to be the actual beginning of a life-long love affair. In 1998, she became a part of Hawtin’s Minus label and toured the world as his warm-up artist. From that moment on, her distinct sound began to rapidly develop and reach the masses.

MARC HOULE, a techno veteran, has been bringing joy to his fans’ lives for over a decade with his live acts which constantly evolve and change, night after night, from city to city, from club to club all around the globe. His knowledge, hard work as well as complete and utter determination devoted to creating electronic music can be felt in each of his performances. Houle, as well as Magda, has released tracks on labels such as Minus, Items & Things …

MISS JOOLS was born in London and has a colorful past and experiences from the mid nineties, when she was a regular host of a series of events, a radio presenter and even a caring employee in one of the most renowned vinyl stores BM-Soho in the heart of London. Since 2009, she’s been living and creating in Berlin, where she’s also a part of the famous Mobilee family.

The larger downstairs floor will be warmed up by a familiar face and a former fellow citizen from Beograd, DEJAN MILIČEVIĆ, but afterwards the floor will be … umm, cooled down or heated up even more by our resident TOMY DECLERQUE. :)

The smaller upstairs floor will also host a DJ from the neighboring Italy, RECLAME, who will set the stage for the above mentioned miss Jools.

Now we can put an end to all of the guessing who will be this year’s anniversary performer, so let the dancing and celebrating begin!

“Zrcalce, zrcalce na steni povej, katera najlepša v deželi je tej…” …in zrcalce na steni je odgovorilo “Ti Kraljica naša, najlepša v deželi si vsej…” Naj se sliši še tako pravljično, bo kar držalo, da imamo v naši deželi najlepšo plesno katedralo, katera letos praznuje zavidljivih 19 let!!

Spet je leto dni naokoli ko se vsi ljubitelji plesne glasbe zberemo na enem mestu, na enem plesišču, v veliki poklon našemu najstarejšemu klubu, ki je največ pripomogel, da imamo elektronsko kulturo tako zelo radi. Spomnimo se lanskoletnega voščila, ki je v vrhuncu večera požel bučen aplavz in nemalo katero oko se je zarosilo.

Ekipa Fetch The Vibe nadaljuje z nizom izjemnih gostovanj in kot se za 19. rojstni dan spodobi, bo še ena obletnica zaznamovala nepozabno doživetje!

MAGDA, ki je povabilo na obletnico z veseljem sprejela, pravi… “obsedena sem z iskanjem bistva med različnimi stvarmi, med zvokom in glasbenimi žanri. Življenje v drugačnem okolju ima velik vpliv na mojo osebno povezavo z glasbo, ki jo ustvarjam in delim”.
Naključje, da se je kot teenager znašla v samem podzemlju detroitske party scene, se je zelo hitro izkazalo za dejanski začetek doživljenjske ljubezenske afere. Leta 1998 se priključi Hawtinovemu Minus-u in odpravi na svetovno turnejo kot njegov warm up artist. Od tukaj, se njen značilen zvok začne hitro razvijati in dosegati množice.

MARC HOULE, techno veteran že pošteno desetletje navdušuje svoje oboževalce z ‘live act’ nastopi, ki se nenehno spreminjajo, noč za nočjo, mesto za mestom, klub za klubom in to po celem svetu. Znanje, trud in popolna predanost ustvarjanju elektronske glasbe je moč zaznati v vsakem njegovem nastopu. Tako kot Magda, se tudi Houle lahko pohvali z izdajami na založbi Minus, Items & Things,…

MISS JOOLS, rojena londončanka z barvito preteklostjo in izkušnjami iz sredine devetdesetih, ko je bila redna gostiteljica serije dogodkov, radijska voditeljica in vse do ljubeče prodajalke vinilov v eni najbolj znani trgovini BM-Soho v centru Londona. Od leta 2009 živi in ustvarja v Berlinu kjer je tudi del znamenite Mobilee družine.

Veliko plesišče bo tokrat ogreval še en znan obraz iz bivše skupne države, beograjčan DEJAN MILIČEVIĆ, medtem ko ga bo… hmmm, ohlajal, ali dodatno nabrusil rezident TOMY DECLERQUE :)
Na malem plesišču gostimo prav tako gosta RECLAME iz sosednje italije, ki bo teren pripravil že omenjeni gospodični Jools.

Tako, ugibanja kdo so gostje je torej konec in naj se ples, ter veliko praznovanje prične!
